Fuller Looks Ahead, Shifts 2012 Plans |
|
Watertown, NY (April 2, 2012)
Tim Fuller and his Tim Fuller Racing Inc.,
team were hoping to kick off the 2012 season
by shaking off the gremlins that plagued him
throughout the 2011 season. Unfortunately for
the 2007 World of Outlaws Late Model Series
Rookie of the Year, 2012 did not start the way
he had hoped.
Fuller has started six of the seven
completed WoO A-Main events this season but
was forced to use four emergency provisional’s
to do so.

Fuller, who sits 15th in the WoO championship
point standings, 288 points behind leader
Darrell Lanigan of Union, KY, will back off
the WoO trail and focus on rebuilding his race
team for the 2013 campaign.
‘It was a hard decision to make,’ Tim
said about reevaluating his 2012 plans.
‘I’m just so far behind right now, we
dug ourselves too big of a hole already,
there’s just no way that we can catch up.
We really needed to make some money
while we were in Georgia and Florida to be
able to continue with the series and that
didn’t happen.
The second night out, we wrecked pretty
good and that put us even further behind.
I think it’s time to sit back and
reevaluate where we are as a race team.'
